Hull
Hand laminated fibreglass DCP/ORHTO polyester with XGT gelcoat. Sandwich construction above the waterline. White hull with dark blue sheer and waterline stripes in gelcoat. Hull and deck/superstructure are bonded and bolted together. Heavy, solid teak fender beam. Lead keel secured to the hull with stainless steel bolts and stainless steel backing plates. GRP rudder blade with aluminium rudder stock. GRP engine bed with steel inserts. Below the waterline, the hull has been painted with 2 coats of epoxy primer and 1 coats of blue antifouling.
Superstructure
Hand laid teak on side deck, cockpit sole and seating, and on bathing platform. Heavy solid teak toe rail. Teak hand rail on deck saloon roof. Non-slip GRP finishes to cabin and deck saloon roof. 2 Dorade ventilators. Silver anodised aluminium framed windows and skylights fitted with safety glass. Stainless steel cleats, both forward and aft. Spring cleats. Mainsheet assembly attached to cockpit sole forward of cockpit helm station.
Genoa sheet tracks with travellers and blocks. 2 x Andersen ST 40 self-tailing genoa winches. Double lifelines on stainless steel stanchions with stainless steel pushpit and pulpit. Stainless steel bathing ladder on platform. Large anchor locker forward with manual anchor windlass.
Large T-shaped cockpit with longitudinal benches and transverse seats in the cockpit helm station. Removable helm seats in the cockpit. Solid teak cockpit coaming capping. Cave lockers in cockpit coaming. Pitched floor to both sides of cockpit helm station. Self-draining cockpit. Manual bilge pump.
Companionway with teak washboards and plexiglas/teak sliding hatch. Very roomy cockpit locker on the port side and large locker behind the steering position (hooks for warps and fenders). Whitlock mechanical steering gear with engine forward and reverse control lever and lockable steering wheel. Stainless steel steering wheel. Stainless steel hoop over illuminated binnacle mounted compass.
Silver anodised aluminium mast and boom. Double spreader rig. The mast is deck stepped and is located on a stainless steel support shoe on the deck roof. Main boom supplied with outhaul, two reefing lines and rod kicker. Two speed halyard winches, one Andersen 16 on the mast and an Andersen 28ST on the deck saloon roof, mounted near the companionway. Mainsail halyard and reefing lines are led through halyard clutches back to the halyard winch on the deck saloon roof. 2 cleats on each side of the mast. Single line reefing with 2 reefs. Split backstay with mechanical backstay tensioner. Roller furling genoa with UV strip.
Fully battened mainsail with mainsail cover. Spinnaker pole mounted on the mast. Stainless steel bottlescrews. Windex.
3 cylinder Volvo Penta MD2030 28hp diesel engine with fresh water cooling. 14V/60Ah three-phase current alternator with charge level indicator. Saildrive with fixed two blade aluminium propeller. Exhaust pipe with swan neck and silencer. Diesel pre-filter and sea water filter. Sound proofed engine compartment Good, all round access to the engine compartment from the main saloon and aft cabin. Engine and gear control instruments with rev counter and audible alarm. 200 litre stainless steel fuel tank and 280 litre stainless steel water tank with gauges.
12 volt system with 72Ah engine start battery and 3 x 72Ah auxiliary/general use batteries. Isolated circuit. Master switch and control panel with voltmeter, 12 volt socket and fuel/water gauges. Lighting throughout the boat: halogen lights, reading lamps, up lighter in main saloon and chart light. Internationally compliant navigation lights, steaming light, anchor light and deck lights. Pressurised water system with electric water pump. Hot water tank has pressure release valve and thermostat is prepared for an immersion heater. Automatic bilge pump. Raymarine ST 60 Tridata Log/depth sounder.
Matt finish varnished top quality mahogany. Panelled doors and locker doors with solid frames. Floors are varnished teak on ply with inlaid stripes. White foam backed vinyl headlining with solid mahogany trim. High quality upholstered cushions. Curtains/blinds for all side windows and skylights.
Large U-shaped berth to port on a raised area with drawers below. Extending saloon table with integral bottle stowage under. .

The chart table and electric switch panel are to starboard with ample room for navigation instruments.

Galley situated forward of the main saloon on the starboard side, one step down. Large, light, angular, white laminate work surface. Ample storage lockers and drawers.

Plates, cups and glasses for 6 people. Stainless steel 1½ basin sink with hot and cold water. Gimballed two burner cooker with oven. Built-in 110 litre marine fridge 12 V TEC/ASU with mahogany veneer door trim. Mahogany grab handle.
Generous ’owner’s cabin’ with full standing headroom, 205 cm long double v-berth with infill and stowage lockers under. (Access to lockers from top and sides). Cabin sides lined with horizontal mahogany strips. Ventilated hanging lockers and locker/shelf above berth on both sides. Large skylight in cabin roof with blind. Access via floor panel to log and depth sounder transducers.

Sizeable toilet compartment forward of the main saloon to port (same level as the galley). White laminate bulkheads with mahogany trim. Washbasin with hot and cold water. Shower with pump out. Toilet. Mirror. Lockers above and below washbasin. Ceramic tiled floor. Large draining wet locker behind the toilet. Grab handle.
Capacious aft cabin with entrance to starboard. Large double berth lying partly under the cockpit. Hanging locker. Locker/shelf unit above the berth.
Additional Equipment
4 fenders, 4 warps, ensign staff, 2 winch handles, emergency tiller and boom cover.
